Treasure Island

Stevenson's classic high-seas adventure narrator Jim Hawkins discovers a mysterious treasure map in the sea chest of an old pirate at the Admiral Benbow inn. Commissioning a schooner to locate the island, Jim and his companions unwittingly hire a crew of mutinous buccaneers led by the cunning, charismatic Long John Silver. Filled with parrots, sea battles, and buried gold, it forged modern pirate lore.
