Description
Easy Model Removal With the Snapmaker U1 PEI Steel Plate, prints release easily once the plate cools to room temperature. Simply flex the plate slightly to detach the model. This design not only saves time but also minimizes scratches on the platform, helping extend its lifespan. Reliable First-layer Adhesion Snapmaker U1 PEI Plate provides excellent adhesion that lets models stick securely, reducing warping for a smoother 3D printing experience. Textured Bottom Finish The Textured PEI Steel Plate delivers a finely textured bottom surface for your prints, making it well-suited for models that require an enhanced overall appearance. # Filament Compatibility & Recommended Settings ## 1. Recommended Settings | **Filament** | **Bed Temperature** | **Glue Application** | | ------------------------------------------------- | ------------------: | ------------------------ | | **PLA / PLA-CF / PLA-GF / Support for PLA** | 25–70 °C | Not Required | | **PETG / PETG-CF** | 60–85 °C | Glue Stick / Liquid Glue | | **ABS / ABS-GF / Support for ABS** | 90–100 °C | Glue Stick / Liquid Glue | | **ASA / ASA-CF** | 90–100 °C | Glue Stick / Liquid Glue | | **TPU** | 25–60 °C | Not Required | | **PEBA** | 90–100 °C | Not Required | | **PVA** | 45–65 °C | Not Required | | **PC / PC-CF** | 90–100 °C | Glue Stick / Liquid Glue | | **PA / PA-CF / PAHT-CF / PA-GF / Support for PA** | 90–100 °C | Glue Stick / Liquid Glue | | **PET-CF** | 80–100 °C | Not Required | > **Note:** Other slicer settings may require optimization depending on the model and filament type. > > For filaments such as **PETG, PC, PA, ABS and ASA**, applying glue can improve adhesion while also acting as a **release agent**. This helps protect the PEI surface and reduces the risk of damaging the build plate when removing the printed part. --- ## 2. Plate Care & Maintenance ### Before Printing If the build plate has **fingerprints, grease or other residues**, wash it with **warm water and dish soap** before printing. A clean surface ensures optimal first-layer adhesion and print quality. ### After Printing If a model is **too strongly adhered to the plate**, which can happen particularly with **TPU**, do not force or pry it off. Instead: 1. Apply a small amount of **alcohol around the contact area**. 2. Allow the alcohol to penetrate between the model and the plate. 3. Gently remove the model once the adhesion has weakened. ⚠️ **Do not force the model off the plate**, as excessive force can damage both the printed part and the PEI surface. ### Daily Maintenance Dust, fingerprints and oils can progressively reduce **first-layer adhesion**. For optimal and consistent printing performance, regularly clean the build plate with: * **Warm water** * **Dish soap** Avoid touching the printing surface with your fingers after cleaning. --- # 3. PEI Steel Plate Specifications | **Specification** | **Details** | | ---------------------------- | --------------- | | **Thickness** | 1 mm | | **Material** | Stainless Steel | | **Product Weight** | 0.32 kg | | **Weight with Packaging** | 0.51 kg | | **Package Size (W × D × H)** | 35 × 29 × 2 cm | ### In the Box * **PEI Steel Plate × 1**
