Delete your Sahel Search account
You can delete your Sahel Search account at any time, from the website or from the Sahel Search Android app. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your data is removed right away and can't be recovered.
On the website
Go to sahelsearch.com and sign in.
Click your profile picture in the top-right corner, then choose Account.
Scroll down to Delete account and click Delete my account.
Click Delete permanently to confirm.
In the Android app
Open the Sahel Search app and sign in.
Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner of the home screen to open Your account.
Scroll down to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
Tap Delete permanently to confirm.
What gets deleted
All of this is deleted immediately, and you are signed out on every device:
- Your account details: email address, name, profile picture and password
- The link to your Google account, if you signed in with Google
- Your saved products
- Your price alerts
- The registrations used to send push notifications to your devices
- The saved products stored in the browser or on the phone you delete from
What we keep
Nothing linked to your account is kept. We only keep anonymous search and browsing statistics (such as search terms and products viewed), which are never tied to your account and don't contain your name or email address.
Can't sign in? Reset your password from the sign-in page, or email contact@sahelsearch.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
